Life Management for churches targets

THE COMPETITION

download a church training brochure

Competition for what, you ask? The answer is time, energy, and focus of Christians and their time. We complete to give our time to God, church, community, family, careers, and everything imaginable under the sun. And truthfully, the world is competing and winning.

We have so many things coming at us daily in this "always on" society that we can't begin to live our lives for what we want to focus on. And that's because everything is a busying blur. When we can't see what we're focused on, we're not focused on anything except the chaos that surrounds us. And when we spend our time unfocused, we miss the focus of our lives.

The world is determining how we spend our time. And bottom line, this affects our ministries, leaders, and volunteers, and our spiritual growth. And in order to grow, we must find our focus and feed it. We must keep what is good and prune what is not.

Life Management and the Christian:

Life Management is a learned skill for individuals with demanding lifestyles, jobs, and even those who simply volunteer their time. It provides the tools necessary to avoid compassion fatigue, burnout, and high turnover in staffing and volunteer positions. It equips everyone in any organization from the leadership on down to deal with the high demands of today's lifestyles, obligations, and "always on" mentality.

Most importantly, the life management workshops teach participants how to juggle the nine different life areas, focus on priorities, and live the life, goals, missions, and calling that is important to them. It teaches people how to say "Yes" to their priorities and "No" to what doesn't align with them. People learn to use their time to match their passions and priorities.  They leave knowing how to get their individual focus and maintain it in this crazy world!

So, what does life management have to do with the Christian life? Have you ever heard someone say they didn't "know" who they were anymore? Our lives are too full. And if we don't know what we live for it's likely we really don't know who we are anymore. We must take control of our lives and time in Godly ways!

About the Worshops

You'll earn to use the nine life areas to determine what your focus and priorities are! You first need to make sure that you're using a filter to sift through the junk of daily life and get to what really matters. Living a Christ-centered life! And it's a skill that lasts!

Philippians 1:9-10 (NIV)

9
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ

We live in a society that demands our constant attention. We are always expected to be on and respond on demand. It requires the skills and empowerment to live according to our priorities. And we have to create the time to do so. Even Jesus even got away from it all. Jesus knew his priorities and managed His time around them.

Mark 1:35-36

35Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. 36Simon and his companions went to look for him,

We have lost control of our time and where we spend it.

It's time to take it back.

It's time to live a Christ-centered life.

My mission and passion:

I am a life management coach, teacher, and encourager for every person I counter to live a life of purpose in relation to their passions. I am an extremely passionate life management consultant. I am on a mission to teach, encourage, and show every person and every church body HOW to manage their lives and time to contribute in their churches and communities, WHILE enjoying their nine life areas and the time they spend in each.

The managed life STARTS with a Christ-centered life. Spirituality is the core of the balanced life and that life area begins with God. When believers get their priorities straight, they can stop serving many masters and start serving God, the Father of the Universe. And that is the most absolute foundation to eliminating chaos and the time and energy thieves. We must learn to give to God first, seek Him first, and follow the instructions He has given us to live a life to be more like Christ. It's impossible to effectively and sanely lead ourselves, our families, or our ministries until we follow God's lead and rebalance our lives to follow His lead.

We cannot do this until we first prioritize and balance our lives to be in alignment with our Father. Life Management is just the beginning. And the skills individuals learn in my workshops are skills that will last a lifetime.

What I can do for you and your church:

I give fast-paced and engaging workshops on Christ-centered life management in various formats that fit your churches needs.

MISSION: GIVE BACK TO AND CHANGE COMMUNITIES

Christine wants to know! When you book a live event be sure to tell her what area of your community could benefit from learning about life management? Are there simply individuals who need to be encouraged in life if nothing else? Tell Christine what they need. When she travels for live events, she wants to do more than just teach in the churches. She wants to get involved and help those in your communities in whatever way she can. If it's cooking a meal at a soup kitchen, just talking to people on the streets, or collecting t-shirts or Bibles for those in need, please let her know. She will arrange this into her schedule and those who wish to participate in a local missions event may do so with her. Please include your contact information, live event date, and community missions ideas.

Her mission is loving and encouraging people.

And that takes on ALL kinds of forms of service.

None are too big. None are too small.

But they ALL change lives and communities...one at a time.

One mission, for God, to move His people into action.

Every person has a purpose and a place to use it.
